MY REMINISCENCES by HABUL SARKAR
In the year 1905 I was a school student and use to play football in the Marcus Square. Mr. A.P. Das, one of the best half-backs of the Mohun Bagan Club of the time, observed me playing and talking fancy on me for my special knack in the game got me admitted here that very year. Thus I came in close contact with then great personalities like the Late Mr. S. N. Bose, the then Secretary, Messrs. B.Bhaduri, S. Bhaduri and Pafulla Roy. Read more

UMAPATI KUMAR-THE BEST EVER LEFT INSIDE OF MOHUN BAGAN
Mohun Bagan, is the National Club of India as well as it is the mother club of numbers of legendary footballers in India. Umapati Kumar is one of them. As a footballer, he started his carrier with Mohun Bagan and served to the club till his retirement.He played for Mohun Bagan as left inside consecutively for 23 years from 1916-1938. He was famous for his brilliant through passes. He retired from the club in the year 1938 after serving with his heart and soul for the club. Read more
